Does anyone know if you can buy just the badge for the steering wheel and if so how is removed, do you just pop it out or does the wheel have to come to bits?

Dunno if you can buy a replacement but you do need to split the bottom halves of the wheel to remove it. The badge has 2 small stubs that poke thru holes with 2 sprung clips on them, then covered with sticky felt. If you prise out the badge, you'll more than likely snap the rods and the clips will be left on the inner portion of the fbsw.

Mine was scuffed if you are talking about the RS4 badge which is within the silver flat bottom area of the steering wheel? If so, pretty sure it comes as part of the flat bottom plastic part of the steering wheel. The entire silver plastic part including badge can be purchased from Audi, fitment is pretty easy (i Managed it... after i'd had it carbon wrapped ofc

) price was something like £50...

Yep new badge is part of the lower trim
Appx. £45, but may have gone up with the Audi price rise.
It has 2 Torx screws from behind (can't remember the size), and then the 2 halfs clip away.

Definitely cant buy the badge on its own because I tried when the badge fell out of mine. If my memory serves me correctly it was around the £65 - £70 mark for the entire silver plastic flat bottom bit with badge.
Hope this helps !

I have a steering wheel badge that came off my 2007 RS4 car. The black paint has rubbed off a bit around the S and 4, but a bit of carefull touching up would sort it. The badge will just push into the two small holes on the alloy surround. the reason I know this is because I prised it off before Audi changed the whole surround. you can have the badge for £5 plus the cost of recorded delivery. Let me know if you're interested.

I must be missing something...how do you split the two halves to get them off? I've undone the 4 screws but can't prise to two elements apart...reluctant to add a bit of force!
