I consider my self to be a good driver (by motorsport standards) and i currently hold my internationa A Circit and Internationl B Rally licences.

I have had some very quick cars in my life but for the love of god i cant get the RS sideways !!!! I know its 4x4 but it should still go, the 997 does, whats the secret ?

Swedish flick and a stamp on the throttle to help it along. You should be able to on that wet bit of road outside your house now......

Isn't that because the 997 normally splits the torque 5/95 to the rears whereas the RS4 runs a constant 40/60 split?

The only way I can get proper oversteer in the RS4 is in the wet under lift-off conditions....it will four wheel drift nicely if you carry enough speed into the corner...

But this is one of things that ensures its ability to cover ground at such a rapid rate...the perfect blend of power versus traction...

Yep lift off oversteer, plenty of roundabouts over here to do it.

Is there many roundabouts in Spain, I honestly don't know.

Narrow wheelbase and high centre of gravity like a Bedford Rascal don't normally help a swedish flick granted.....
