Is this feasible, and how much would it cost?

Are there other non-Audi alternatives?

Thanks

Yes totally feasible.

Non Audi would be something like Nokia or Parrot.

If you buy the retrofit kit from Kufatec you get everything you need to buy.

It takes between 1 and 2 hours to fit, but you do need VAG-COM to recode the phone module, your radio or sat nav and the instruments.

I had the Kufatec system fitted by an outfit from Bradford...Cost £315 fitted.

Works pretty good through the RNS-E system, muting the radio etc..

Sync's with most phone types, I use an 3g Iphone on mine which works OK and imports contacts and missed calls etc.
