Good tyre fitter - West London (ish)

Does anyone have any recommendations? Having had badly balanced or scratched wheels on more than one occasion, I'm happy to travel for a good job - especially with the sensors to contend with
Also, I'll be providing my own Sessantas which I bought last year, and have heard that some places only fit tyres they've provided themselves - any substance in this?
Thanks

You could try Munster Tyres in Fulham (
http://www.munstertyres.biz/Welcome.aspx ). They've always seemed fairly competent to me. They're also Vredestein main dealers so they may be more amenable to fitting the Sessantas. Can't see why they wouldn't fit your own tyres for a fee.........
Being a bit paranoid about anybody going near my cars I tend to stand over the fitters - nagging about correct torques & sensors etc. but, they seem OK.
Good luck.

I used to use this place;
http://www.alloywheelrefurb.co.uk/page3.html
Albeit some 6 years ago I used them when I was in London for 5 years and had decent cars. As they do the alloy repairs they are good a fitting without scratching up to 24" rims IIRC.
Never used to be precious about bringing your own tyres if you were a regular customer of their valet or alloy centre.

Try Monty's Wheels and Tyres in Iver
http://www.montyswheelsandtyres.com/def ... echeck=yes&
We have used them for years. They are a nice small company who have been around for years. They won't scratch your wheels and will fit your own tyres properly. Give Paul (The owner) or Justin a call.

Sorry guys - been away
Thanks for the suggestions - I'll investigate (although like Virdee it seems an endless task...)
