My MRC tuning experiance

Dropped my car off (RS4 B7) at MRC on Monday of this week for three days of engine work. including:
Modified ported intake maniold
Performance air filter
Milltek high flow downpipes + 100 cell cats
Spark plugs
Oil + filter
Fuel filter
Remap
Clean intake ports
Well all i can say right now is WOW! My car has been transformed. The stand out point is the 'S' button.....it now really works! not sure but i think there is a different map on the button. Apart from that i can't really put into words the changes right now, i need more time to reflect but what i can confirm for sure, it's all positive!
edit]
Had my car on the dyno before work, came in at an optimistic 379. Booked back in next week (on the same dyno) so i'll let you know how i get on.
+ i'll post some 'scary' (40k) valve pic's also, once i receive from the MRC guys.
cheers

Good stuff, you can rely on the guys up at MRC to do a good job.
So did you retain the OEM exhaust then? if so I have done the same.
Look forward to hearing the results, what RR are you booked into?

yes i retained the OEM zorst, back from the cats, the sound is rawty but not offensive and drowny which was a major concern for me. I would recommend this zorst approach for anyone who wants a tad more thunder without compromising the cockpit.
rolling road: I use well lane centre at batley.

Glad your happy, expect to see 30-35 extra bhp and a far stronger torque curve

Yes i can confirm the stronger torque gain. (30/35hp) if so, i should be somewhere near claimed which to be honest that's what this journey is all about, and the valve cleaning thing also.

As an alternative you could travel up to Northallerton (40 mins away from Batley), not too far away and using Motoscopes Dastek rolling road; produces more consistent results than Well Lane having used it previously also.

Agree I have done the same, MILLTK DP and 200cl cats with OEM cat back, I have not yet dynoed mine, so would be interested to see how yours does, esp with the head work you have done.

They were pretty much in line, perhaps plus 5bhp over on my old S4. It is a Dyno Dynamics road IIRC.

With regards to the work done to cleanup the inlet components, how often will this need to be re-done?
