Just a quick hello, have been lurking on the 6 forum but am now the very very happy owner of a sprint blue 56plate rs4 avant. I absolutely love it. We collected it on the 29th dec and have only managed a few 100 miles so far but it's a great car.

I originally wanted black and we have 2 black other cars but I really like the sprint blue. It is completely standard and from a dealer so 12 months warranty etc.

The wheels will require a refurb so not sure if I'll go for a different colour or stay oem, any thoughts appreciated there.

The V8 sound is awesome and I like the instant linear power, I have a few other toys including a 996 but at the moment I really do prefer my rs4. :D .

I have found the forum very useful so far and plan on contributing when and where I can.

I will get the obligatory pics up when the car reappears from under the snow.

Marc

Welcome to RS4 ownership! I've had a 996 and 997, and don't miss them at all when driving my RS4! I was never lucky enoough to have both at the same time, though! :)

We briefly have a car collection of 5 (2 of us) At least one but maybe 2 will be going. I have a S2000 which she refuses to go in and as we have a sprog on the way 2 seats aren't much use hence the sensible avant :) . I would like to keep the porsche if finances allow.
Audi rs6 c6 avant - hopefully coming soon
Audi A3 black edition
E9x 330 msport convertible - going soon
Defender 110 utility
RS4 Avant - gone

Hi guys,

just a quick official hello, I am also a newbie on here. Used the site for a few months last year aslo, prior to purchasing my RS4 avant.

Bushes replaced in the first week, slight creaking on a the steering sometimes. Intermitent so not resolved!

She is great fun, especially at the moment as I cruise past all the 2 wheelers...

Mike
