Evening everyone,

Been on here a while trying to learn as much as I can about these wonderful cars. Then on Saturday came the day I actually got to buy one.

I'm the new owner of Rob's (pippyrips) fantastic car. The sound of the thing is just unbelievable  and I know everyone says this, but the drive back from Wales to South Yorkshire was the best drive of my life. I've had a permanent smile on my face since Saturday, not sure it'll be gone anytime soon either.

You can tell Rob has really looked after it, the car is mint. Also the brakes are absolutely fine, god knows what the copperhead guy had been smoking lol, his loss anyway.

Hopefully I'll be able to come to one of the meets one day, as it's a great community for RS4 owners here, and I'm sure i'll have some questions as well down the line.

Lastly I'd just like to thank Rob and his wife for their hospitality, nice people.

Billy

Where about in South Yorkshire are you from? As i am from Sheffield. Dont think there are many Yorkshire owners on here.

Copperhead?? Isn't that a venomous snake from America sometimes known as a Chunk Head? :nogarors4:

Billy,

You got a great deal acquiring Rob's car.

It is the pooch's privates.

I was always jealous of that solar sunroof and the racket it made in any tunnels we might have ventured through in 3rd at the top end of the rev range...

Happy motoring.

Thanks mate.

Ah yes the tunnels, I wish I could drive everywhere through tunnels with this car. I went through one tunnel five times in a row just to hear it

I was just saying to Rob earlier how every journey I seem to make I take the super extra long way aswell lol.
