best of luck...
I went to court 2 years ago, should have got banned but got 6 points in the end. I often wonder if it would have been better to have got banned for a few weeks and have a clean license, as now im treading on thin ice everywhere I go as im on 9 points...

i hoped i would win but just lately im having some bad luck... ended up with 6 points and a £500 fine, i cant say im happy, as I still feel the signage is poor, but it would seem the judge and CPS are sleeping together so there is nothing i can do

Must say i'm very surprised to hear that given the photos you posted of where you got caught. I would have thought you'd have a solid case.
Sorry to hear the outcome.

Bad luck, definately a case of money before justice after seeing the pics and knowing the area. Think alot of regular uses of that road would have been caught out by a change in the speed limit if it wasn't painted on the road or clearly signed.

Sorry to hear that, but I fear A20LEE's comment probably explains it all. While I don't know the background, if there has been a change and many people have been caught (few of which I would imagine put up much of a fight) then by admitting the signage wasn't clear would be open the floodgates and prevent further revenue being generating for them!

Did the judge get to see your photos ?
At the very least you would think he would ask for the signage to be made more noticeable and clearer !
That's if he actually ever gets to drive his own car !!
Would be interesting to know how many other drivers have been done for exactly the same and why nothing has been done about it ?

Phil's right, money before justice. We shouldn't forget we're only here to provide revenue for the system and anything that threatens that will be quashed or ignored….and anyone who thinks I’m being a little ‘anti-state’ just needs to look at the banking fiasco lately

Bad luck mate.
Jutice? Pah! In my experience a judge's thought process tends to be along the lines of "driving a fast car? They must be at fault regardless of the evidence or circumstances"
