Wheels - opinions!

Post by CHRISKL » Wed Oct 14, 2009 1:07 pm

It was noted in previous posts some months ago that the RS4 design wheels were becoming more common. I've noticed over the last few months that they are now appearing on literally anything Audi do.
To my mind this takes away a fair chunk of the RS4 aesthetics/exclusivity.
So, my question is with this in mind what wheels would you replace your stock ones with, or what wheels would you have as a second set?

Cheers
Chris

I really like the new RS6 wheels - also coming soon to every other model in the Audi range, no doubt.

Right fit more like! It's all about the stance, that's spot on, love those Works rims! 8)

The HRE M40's are popular this side of the pond.

VMR (http://www.vmrwheels.com) make a cost effective "replica" called the v710.

Considering the huge price difference between the two, the VMR's are what I'm getting next spring. 19 x 8.5 ET35 in Hypersilver

That's the only thing for me though, look like M3 CSL wheels.

I've always had a soft spot for Sportec Mono's or MTM Bimotos, not sure however how much the latter suit the RS4.

I presume those Works wheels are the Varianza T1S option?

Does anyone know whether someone has a UK franchise on their wheels?

I presume they're inidividually customised so ain't cheap?

Hi
Does anyone know where a either a set of new RS6 wheels or the 20" versions of the original RS4 wheels can be sourced from. Have had a look about but cannot seem to progress.
Thanks
