Following on from some previous threads, I could never quite get to the bottom of which was the most poular or as some refer to 'common' colour for our B7's?

So here's a poll for the original (not wrapped) colour of your car.

Is sprint blue the most common colour? My suspicion is that it is Phantom Black as I see more of them than anything else.

So Daytona Grey steals an early lead, can the dullest of dull colours keep its position?

I would think Phantom Black has to be most common surely??

It'll be a close one between black and silver in my opinion

The colours you can get on ANY make of car !!

I would have thought so but Daytona still remains in the lead! IIRC a significant proportion of the demonstrators at launch were Daytona, I wonder if that is a contributing factor to its popularity?

I could be wrong here but I thought there were 3 silvers? Daytona Grey, Avus and the more of a Brilliant Silver?? can't recal the name of it???

I had a look at the colour chart in the brochure and googled RS4 colour palate and Avus was the only colour silver that came up unless it was a special order. Papaya / Solar was an exclusive colour as well but then I could have been here all day listing them all!

Daytona Grey for me, which I also think really suits the car, especially with the black optics. (I rememebr having to show the dealer a picture of one, as he told me it wasn't availiable!)

However, in the ficticious world of ordering a new one tomorrow, its always nice to have a slight change, so I think I would probably choose Mugello

Daytona was a good safe option with black optics looked good and holds off the dirt well!! But in hindsight I should and would have gone for Sprint blue. I love it tbh and if any one fancies a swap!....

Don't know what this says about me, but my last seven cars have been:

Silver
Black
Silver
Grey
Black
Black
Black

I think my midlife crisis is on the way though as I have a sneaking suspicion my next will be white or red.

Wasn't having a go Graeme, just remember when I was looking at buying one being offered a brilliant silver one.

Interesting how few Mugello cars there are (so far) - I would have thought that dark blue would have been quite popular...

Bought mine from dealer stock after orders had closed. First choice colours were Sprint, Mugello and Daytona and ended up quite happily with Daytona with black optics (cheers crispy). I will admit to liking Sprint Blue which is probably linked to the Nogaro Blue S4 I used to have.

Sorry Jim, wasn't suggesting you were, just tried to list the available colours and some exclusives that I knew people had ordered for their cars. There are 6 different shades of Audi silver IIRC, damned if I can tell them all apart.
