I'm self employed so a small % of my motor expenses is tax deductable...
Sent all the fuel, servicing, tyres, insurance receipts to my accountant.....
Just received the break-down ... Guess how much the car cost in expenses?

Didn't expect any one to guess really.... My car expenses for the golf gti I had the yr before was 4.5k
The RS4 cost me 15k last yr ( insurance 1.5k, the rest is fuel, tyres and servicing)
Expensive beast to run on a daily basis but Worth every penny.

15k that's quite a bit.

Not like my old Fez 550 Maranello though.... over 5 years, inc depreciation, insurance, servicing, fuel, etc...... well over 150k

Bought for 160k ish, sold for 48k.... the rest you can work out for yourselves.

£2k really? for insurance? I'm with Privilege now having fallen out with the company with the grey skin, big ears, long nose and sh*te customer service (!).

£550 quid, 3pts for four year old SP30, 32 y.o. 6k miles p/ann with the missus on the policy who has only been driving three years (which made it cheaper, stupidly enough).

Audi maintenance plan for less than £18 a month takes care of the rest including tyres.

"Audi maintenance plan for less than £18 a month takes care of the rest including tyres"

How does the maintenance plan work, what does it cover?

I'd be interested too as that is only £216 per year, barely enough to cover an AVS1 on an RS4 through dealer pricing. So how does it include tyres and other maintenance?

http://www.audi.co.uk/audi/uk/en2/Finan ... nance.html

I found this which seems to suggest that its an option that needs to be taken in the first 10k miles and before its 1 year old!

I've just spoken to Listers and they are going to give me a quote on there service plan (excludes tyres etc.)

Yep, paying only 18 quid a month on Audi maintenance plan from new. Tyres as well as parts and labour come service time.
Have absolutely no idea how they reckon it pays for everything - even the salesman couldn't figure it out when I bought the car.
I've had the first service and a whole set of Continentals already with a year to go left on my contract. Bear in mind this is based on the mileage I do (around 6k per annum) but even still it seems a remarkably good deal for once.

I could see how it works on 6k miles per annum, no chance for me on 18k miles per annum at that price then.
