how many B7's sold in UK?

just wanted to know how many B7 RS4's were sold in the UK and how many in total were produced worldwide anybody know?

How many timew has this come up! I reckon there should be a sticky for it.

Here's what I got from the DVLA database.

There are in total a little over 3500 RS4's registered in the UK.

Of those 506 RS4's were registered between 2000 and 2002 (B5's)

That means there are 3000 B7's in the UK.

How can we get a breakdown of that into saloon, avant and cabrio?

I contacted Ian Tinsley-Booth several months ago but have never been "graced" with a reply.

There are probably less than that now given the number that are appearing at scrap dealers as write offs of being stolen exported overseas.

When I asked about Avants etc... to differentiate between the B5's and B7's I was told.

Unfortunately the data provided to us by the DVLA does not detail which of the RS4s are B5 Avants, it only tells me that there are a little over 3,500 Audi RS4s in total.

OK so that's 1703 saloons and 1297 combined avants plus cabrios.

Any one know how many cabrios or avants so we can work out the complete breakdown by a process of elimination?

Do the DVLA record the owner's occupation? If so, simply get the number listed as hairdressers and you won't be too far off the cabrio figure ...
