Guys,

It seems my drivers door has dropped slightly.Noticed tonight that silver trim along top edge doesnt line up with rear door and door crease also lower than rear door.I would say we are taking approx 3 to 4 mm.

Any one else had this.

Any one know how to sort out.

Car is out of warranty two weeks ago..

Ideas????

My boss has a fleet a4 tdi on a 57plate it has done this but hes obviously not arsed on a loan car,the very crude way of doing it is open the door a little grab it at the bottom and yuck it up,believe me this is what they do in the bodyshops when there is no other adjustments!!!!!!!!

Yep, happened on mine. Noticeable not only on the trim line, but when the door was opened it dropped noticeably.

Mentioned and fixed at the last service. My car is still in warranty, so was never an issue................

most hinges (and latches) are slotted/shimmed for alignment/adjustment...
the manual has gap specs also

any body shop worth it's salt ought to be able to do this easily...
I did it on my M3...long heavy doors sag after time/usage...easily fixed
