My Cab is now gone

Well, I wouldn't have thought 6 months agao I would be writing this but things being what they are, I've had to sell the RS.

My wife was taken ill last November and is still off work and now receiving half pay, I am going onto a 3 day week as from next week with a possible redundancy instead - I shall know Monday. So I had no options but to pull the purse strings in and the Cab had to go which it did today.

I have a few things in the garage which I need to sell if anyone is interested, two genuine RS4 wheels - one slighty (very slightly) curbed and one which is perfect and has only covered about 100 miles, a virtually as new OEM exhaust, a Cab wind deflector which has only been fitted once to see how it went plus my lovely RS04 reg number. If anyone is interested in the number then I will PM the details rather than put it up here.

I also have the two central resonators for the Milltek as well as I changed to a non-resonated very soon after getting the milltek so these are virtually as new.

So sorry to be going so soon, I had never dreamt that this would happen to us but it has and I have to deal with it but it's been one hell of a six months.

A big "Thanks" to you all for the encouragement, help and general banter over the last 2 years I've been on here but all good things must come to an end as they say.

Graham

Graham.

Sorry to hear your news, make sure you stay in touch on the forum. Thanks for all the help you gave me when i first turned up :beerchug:

Did the car go private? if not those of you in the market for a cab could pick up a minter if you find this car.

I've pm'ed you my number as i'll take the wheels off your hands.

Sorry to hear about the bad news of your wife Graham, hope she makes a speedy recovory. Gutted that you had to sell the Cab so prematurely, but at least you got some enjoyment out of her, make sure you pop in to say hello every now and again and that you will be in a RS very soon.

Here's wishing you both good health, happiness & prosperity for the coming years.

Hpe the wife gets well soon Graham.

Sorry to hear you are amongst the growing number of us that have been are are facing redundancy. Tighten your belts for now and aim to get back into an RS once the mess the banks have made gets sorted out.

Graham, I wish you and the family all the very best mate. Unfortunately and for very similar reasons I am also having to part with my RS, haven't put it on the market yet but will do so later this week. I really hope our sector pics up as the last 4 months have been really tough.

Anyway, hope you get sorted in the end, Alex :(
