My B7 Saloon runs out of warranty soon (3 years old), does anyone know of a list of all known RS4 faults I should check before its too late to claim?

Is there a complete list ...or any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks!

Mine isn't out until August 2010 but I already know I will be extending it!

Can someone post the extended warranty schedule.

By all means PM me.

I never bothered on the A3 and personally, I don't think I'll bother on the RS4.

piece of mind - I know I will be extending mine. I run an independant garage, so am best suited if soemthing that goes wrong, but what if the gearbox blows up, or the head gasket goes or worse.......

I won't be taking a warranty either. The £1200 quoted is for up to 15K miles IIRC, if more miles then £1500.

Keep your money in your pocket until something does go wrong, clutch is wear and tear so not covered as well as discs and pads as is gearbox, DRC is extended and even if it did need replaced you could do this with an aftermarket system like KW for that price.

I think £1200 is a fair price for such a car, and you get roadside worth £80.00

Id rather enjoy the car then worry about stuff going wrong

Didn't bother either and conditions for warranty state that it must not be modified from manufacturers specifications. (Would have to proven that modded parts caused problems). Agree with P_Gs comments. Going to get Roadside assistance on its own, got a card through the door today.

Any update on a list of known faults? I have decided to get the car checked by an independant garage, so a list would really help - thanks in advance!

You could ask Audi to carry out an end of warrenty check over, they'll probably charge an hour at the most and they'll be able to quote you for an extended warrenty. There's little point in an independant garage carrying out the checks because they'll have to charge you for any work that could be covered under warrenty.
