OMG!

Picked up our RS4 from Perth Audi first thing yesterday, superb service and sold to us by a genuine enthusiast (Thanks Kerr). The car is on a 56 plate, has only covered 10k and has been very well looked after, and that’s coming from a perfectionist with slight auto-OCD. Only a couple of light scratches on the boot where someone had put a box down I think. Can’t wait to improve on the already superb paint finish and get the RugDoctor on those inner arches!

In the meantime our goal for today is to use up the remaining half tank of free 95RON the car came with. We covered 188 fantastic miles yesterday Perth/Kirkcaldy/Glasgow/Leven then back home to Dunfermline, superb day!

Those brakes seam to hypnotise more than Paul McKenna.People just stare at them as they drive past.

It is a stunning piece of kit and we are both blown away with the build quality and it’s shear presence. I think today we will either end up in Crieff or Oban as there are some superb roads around these places.

The roads around Loch Awe are pretty good!

Pity they won't let petrol cars into the tunnel going down to the turbine hall at the Pass of Brander power station - and RS4 in there would sound truly awesome!

95RON? Stingy Buggers! Mine came with a tank of V-Power when I picked it up, the performance from the car will improcve when you switch to the good stuff.

You should really use 98 octane minimum for this engine - you will be down on power by approx 20-30bhp! Cheapskate dealers!

Us americans only regularly see 93 as our top tier gas..... (5+ is very hard to find. I would like to try some 105oct. one of these days, see how she goes on that.

The RON rating is the US is different to that in the UK. I think your 93 is the same as our 97.

Probably more - saw a B7 on 95RON only produce about 340bhp on a rolling road last summer. The best on the day posted about 390bhp.
