New baby seat

Post by Oli » Thu Feb 26, 2009 10:27 pm

New baby seat -

With the immenent arrival of our third, I want to get a compact, but safe, rear facing seat. Any ides? I have bucket seats, so space is key.

I have the young sport for my 21 month old( and another for when the new baby needs it), and my eldest doesn't need a seat as he's tall enough, and fits in the middle.

I have tried searching on here but found nothing

Cheers

We had the Mamas and Papas Primo Vaggio travel system which came with a rear facing ISOFIX. Cumbersome base but it felt solid.

I've got the (smaller) Recaros and it fit OK behind my wife's seat. However, I'm 6ft and it only just fitted behind mine.

Maxi Cosi Cabriofix seat with the Easyfix base fits behind the buckets fine.

I have Recaro's.

I have a Peg Perego Primo Viaggio SIP seat with LATCH (ISOFIX) and rear facing they fit behind the passengers seat ... BUT that is with my wife's seat moved ALL the way to the front (she's 5'1").

Stick the eldest in a Thule Spirit - it might be a roofbox, but he can lie flat and listen to his own music
