Got the DRC issue too...

Post by avantus2 » Wed Feb 25, 2009 2:40 pm

Had the car in for some general maintenance and asked them to check the suspension as I've had a problem when turning the wheel right and hearing a 'clunk'. Only intermittant so wasn't sure if this was related to DRC.

Also had the problem with a 'knock' as the car comes down after a speed hump. I thought it couls have been related to bold tyres which really made grinding noises when turning the wheels.

Anyway - was told today that there is 'slight seepage' from the front shocks so replacement ones are on their way. Off to France on Saturday - they assured me the car will be safe to drive so will have them changed when I return. No questions were asked, so they have been quite good about it.

To be honest, I don't actually mind. Getting brand new shocks so can't be that bad..

They were fine for me. The master tech took it out, and said there was a problem, but very very minor. Knocking over speed bumps. After a long delay for parts, it went in this morning for both new front shocks & valves.

Had no problem at all - going in for replacement front shocks next month. What do I get for the days? A spanking new RS6. :FIREdevil:

Damn you! I got a 2.0TDI A4. Its new at least - but in a horrible sky blue! I wonder how long Im going to be driving this around - Audi say 2 to 3 days.....

I tell you though, since Ive owned my RS4 (a few months) every other card I drive just feels so horrible! Mainly the feel of the steering you notice, that and a bit of throttle response too!
