Who's got centre armrest - then tell me this...

Hi folks,

I retrofitted the front centre armrest with the official Audi kit, after a mix up on the order left me without it.

My question is: if you have it FACTORY fit, is it illuminated?

I ask as i have just noticed on the parts system an illumination fitting, which i have now bought. Goes right in the back centre of the armrest - look when you open it and you'll see a small rectangular cutout where this LED illumination goes (er, or should be).

Wow, interesting then. I better go fit it! Only about 15 quid too.

Well, 'only'... ... for a pair of wires and an LED...!

Mine is an Apr 07 and it does have the lighting in the arm rest

It is in mine (July '06) - one small red LED just below the hinge, but you have to have the dash illumination almost fully bright to see it.
