Fun in the Snow

Post by jstahmann » Thu Jan 01, 2009 12:12 am

Some footage of a couple of us RS4 guys playing in the snow. My Imola RS4 has an H-Pipe in place of the center resonator and exhaust cutouts with flaps that can bypass the rear mufflers to run wide open. The video is with them wide open. The Avus RS4 has the stock exhaust with the vacuum lines on the muffler flaps disconnected so they are open all the time.

I would like to know more about the exhaust cutouts that can bypass the rear mufflers - who makes them and how do they work? Don't suspose you have an pics?

I had the shock of my life when my milltek pipes slipped off the centre section as i gunned it just after fitting (the guy didn't tighten the clamps properly!) - i thought World War 3,4 & 5 had kicked off under my car, all at the same time! Far too loud for day to day use, and i'm pretty sure the car would be impounded should plod happen to hear you over here..

Still, it was pretty funny seeing absolute fear in the eyes of the people parked next to me at traffic lights while i was on the way back to get it sorted
:D

I managed a drift in the snow from the road into my drive it was awesome! Used to have a 996 C4S - went to play in an industrial estate in the snow, smashed the back alloy to pieces -00ps £1000. :boohoo:
