How long should discs last?

Hi Guys

Okay my front discs do have a slight lip, but don't look excessively worn. How often do you change discs, is it every 20-30,000miles. Or do you only change them at 40-50,000 miles?

What mileages have you had discs changed at?

That is a bot of a 'How long is a piece of string' question. Do you always use them for slow down or do you use engine breaking, to your track your car, do you hoon it around or are you doing motorway mileage mostly?

I doubt you will get a prescriptive answer to this, but as I replied in your other post I am on my second replacement set at the front and 1st replacement at the rear at 40000 miles on the car.
