Are RS4's becoming common on our roads?

I remember when I bought mine, over two years ago, they were very few and far between. I'd go weeks without seeing another RS4. I liked it. It made the Marque feel that much more special.
Recently, I'm seeing them everywhere. I live in Caterham and see serveral driving around the town. I can garantee I pass at least one on my weekly trip with the family to Bluewater. There are even 3 other RS4's in the station car park with mine (2 Avants and a Cab)!
I guess the worst bit, is half of these seem to be driven by people that don't even appriciate what they have. They look like the classic rep-mobile.
Thoughts???

I see you are in Surrey also. I never see any RS4's - maybe its is just my daily commute up the A3 isn't of a great enough distance to see any?
I do seem to see a few RS6's though... I do think we are still in the elite minority (at least from where I am sitting, anyway)

I see posts on here and other boards about other RS4s near where I live and work, but so far I've yet to see another RS4 within 50 miles of home.
There was only 4000 sold in the UK, most of the saloons have been bought by cocks and crashed (if you believe JC and another thread in this forum!) so that leaves less than 2000 Avants and cabs - so no RS4s are not common on our roads.

Aren't they normally Mondeo's and Vectra's
I haven't seen one for months!
Maybe its just a case of you noticing them more now you have one? I hadn't seen an S3 until I got one

I only usually see an RS4 every other week. There are only six I have physically seen within a 40 mile radius of where I live, Victor2vt, caldy, an imola yellow and a silver saloon, a red cabriolet and a black saloon in Teesside. Mine is the only avant I have seen
Haven't even seen many on the M1 or, M62 or M42 when I make my trips to London, Birmingham and Leeds so not that common really.

Maybe it's just where I live then. You never know, maybe my v8 rumbling into the station car park has inspired these people to buy one.
Like I said, there are three other RS4 B7's in the same station car park every morning, and I pass another one sitting in the station car park at the next stop too.

I have only seen 1 other B7 RS4 where I live (SE London,NW Kent area), I have seen a few S4s!
I have passed a few on the M25, esp around the M23 area, I suspect tey wll get even more common now, esp as the prices have dropped.

This thread is really making me smile.
How can a car that went out of production a year ago be getting more common?
In fact if, as it's been claimed, the cocks keep crashing their saloons, surely RS4s are getting rarer?
Anyway, here in London I see quite a few - I see a cabriolet most mornings on my way in to work. We're not quite on waving terms yet though.

I suppose more common in the fact that there appear to be a number of RS4 owners who use them exclusively as weekend toys and only clock up a few thousand miles every year with them as opposed to people like me who use them as a daily driver/ Especially now that they have dropped in price and become affordable to those who are likely to use them as daily drivers and therefore the chance of seeing RS4's on the road would be higher?

Well, considering most dealers filled their boots with orders once they knew production was stopping, there was a flood of them. My local dealer had at least 4 on the forecourt at one point.
That with the current price drop must be seeing the marque stray from the usual specialised demographic?

Oh, that definition of 'common'.

Weirdly, I have yet to see another RS6 since I've had mine (got it in March). I have however seen loads of RS4's, both the saloon and the estate in roughly equal numbers. In fact, saw a black RS4 estate just today in St.Albans. Very nice it was too. It was quite funny actually because he was behind me and we were doing synchronised pothole dodging along London Road which really is getting bad now. He was weaving the exact same line as I was!!

And even more weirdly, I've just driven from Fulham to Hyde Park Corner in convoy with a black RS6 Avant. More synchronised cyclist dodging than potholes though.
