DRC / shock warranty

Post by chemical-ali » Tue Nov 04, 2008 11:03 am

Went to the dealer yesterday regarding another matter and the service lady  confirmed they had had a note confirming a 5 year or 75k mile extended goodwill warranty on the system.

I cant imagine Porsche doing that with their RMS.

So, good on Audi. :D

Spoke to one of the directors at work yesterday when I saw her driving a Maserati Quattroporte instead of her usual 911 Turbo.

The 911 will be at the Porsche dealer for some time while they fit a new engine - why Porsche won't pay for, the leasing company are paying for it and them selling the car at auction.

Why am I not suprised. I used to love porsches and still have a soft spot for them. But they are fast becoming underpowered averagely built replica's of yesteryear. A real shame.

Sent a nice letter to Audi on the matter. But unfortunatley no warranty extension in Germany. Oh well should it brake it would be an easy thing to reference the UK unless UK cars are inferior to German versions...
