rs4 extended warranty prices!!!!!!!!!rip off

hi guys got my extended warranty paperwork through today ,so gave them a call just to see how much it would cost for a year,ALL COMPONENTS UNLIMITED MILEAGE IS £1540 just glad im covered till april 2011.this seems high compared to the bmw one for the m3.

How many yrs is the standatd warranty?

Factory warranty is 3 years from 1st registration.

I'd kill for that extended warranty -- when you start to realize what RS4 parts cost, you'd understand that it's practically insurance, unless your dealership gets really sticky about avoiding warranty claims

I was offered a 2 year extension in Germany for 2300 EUR (ca. £1800!!)

Hmmm that price will make me consider if it is really worth it or whether to push ahead with a map etc. That said the amount of warranty work I have had done of the past year or so (a lot!) does make you wonder….

Out of curiosity are there different levels i.e. up to a set mileage etc that come with a lower cost?

Not forgetting DRC just got 5 years cover from date of 1st registration upto 75k miles, makes the warranty seem more expensive..
