Wanted used RS4 brake discs

Hi All,

I'm wanting to customise my discs, by getting the bells annodised a different colour and all the bolts and components that hold them to the discs colour coded as well.

Obviously the issue in doing it is that the discs need to be off the car hence I want to buy a set of used discs that I can take to bits and send all the components away for colour coding without having the car off the road for a ridiculour length of time.

If anyone is having their discs changed can they get the old discs from the dealer and I will happily pay for them?

Thanks for any help
DMC

I don't believe you can anodise steel only aluminium. You maybe able to get it plated with something so it can be coloured but I do not know of anything that can do this, a can of paint seems any easier solution...

Thanks for the replies. Am sure the bells are alloy so they should be okay and thought about paint, but the brake dust tends to eat the laquer and powder coating is too thick so still searching for the right sort of coating for all the other components.
