Hi I am trying to get caught on the DRC issue on this thread. What is the issue and what are the steps to be taken. Although I am in Germany now this should not be a UK issue I assume.

What are the concessions from AUdi UK so I can try to secure the same here in GErmany.

I have the same question and after faffing around I discovered DRC is "Dynamic Ride Control" and is often used to refer to faults with the shock absorbers.

If you own an RS4 and don't know what DRC is then shame on you! DRC is one of the things that distinguishes RS models from S & A models, so if you don't know what it is then why are you driving an RS?

As already said all the information about what the DRC problem is, how it can be seen, what Audi have done to help, which dealers know about the problem and which don't have a clue, etc has been posted here in full detail and there's really no point posting it all again.

Doing a search yields 172 threads which seems like a lot. It seems like a useful thing to do would be to create a "sticky" thread with relevant info.

Long and the short of it, DRC is not just the shocks, it is a hydraulic system linked to the shock absorbers on opposite corners to improve handling and cornering at speed

Faults could be with leaking shocks, fluid evident on the shocks themselves with inspection; or with DRC valves. Audi UK have given a 5 year of 70k mile extended warranty on new shocks should they need replacing but only if you ask and they will only be replaced if leaking, residue on the shocks is seen as within normal operating parameters.
