Help! Cabriolet Roof

Post by GraRS07 » Mon Sep 22, 2008 10:14 am

Hi, can anyone help. My wife has a A4 cabriolet and when closing roof at weekend she turned off ignition halfway through DOH! :bash: needless to say it jammed open.

I managed to follow instructions in book and closed it manually but now it will not operate. Also checked fuses and they are OK, is there a reset button or anything else need doing?

Call your dealer.

Last time I was at the service desk there were "Help" cards explaining exactly how to fix this issue.

Same thing happened to our previous car (s4) whilst it was closing.I closed it manualy and it wouldnt work with the switch so i opened it and then closed it again manualy and all was fine after this. There is a bit of info on page 85 of the owners book.
