Hi all, I need your help!
I completed a retrofit BT install in my B7 RS4 yesterday. In doing so I disconnected the car battery for around 3 hours and every since I have reconnected the battery my drivers seat has stopped inflating when I hit the ‘s’ button. My boot release button in the door has also stopped working while everything else in the car is ok!
I ran an auto scan after reconnecting the battery. The strange thing is although it did throw up a few faults (low voltage etc/open mic etc) on a number of channels none were related to either 1) the drivers seat 2) the steering wheel 3) anything related to the boot release button.
Rightly or wrongly (?!) i then cleared all DTC's, ran another autoscan and the car has come back with no fault codes whatsoever and still hasn't 24 hours later.
I've compared scan logs from pre/post mods and all coding etc is the same.
Does anyone have any ideas on why this would happen and more importantly how to solve both problems?
Any help greatly appreciated!!

RE: Help! strange behaviour after disconnecting the battery
I don't know about the boot release (I haven't got one) but when my battery was disconnected, I had to reset the driver's seat inflation by using the menu display. The instructions are in the handbook.

Hey thanks softail.
I had the same thing confirmed to me on another forum today. I feel a bit stupid as i completely forgot the option was in the DIS menu - I’ve never needed it!
Likewise I’ve never needed the solution to the boot problem! - I used the key to manually open it while the battery was off and didn’t know you can deadlock the boot depending on whether you take the key out of the lock in a horizontal/ vertical position - we live & learn
