It's a recall for cars in cold climates only - so it's not a recall in the UK.

And the 090 SW update is only offered to people who complain of cold running lumpiness caused by SW 080 on cars that do mostly urban driving.

You think this is cold? We complain when it drops to 0 Celsius, but in e.g. Sweden, Finland they regularly get weeks when the temperature never rises above -20 Celsius and drops to -40 Celsius overnight. That's cold!!!

Mine was also done a couple of weeks ago on a July '06 car, low pressure fuel sender sensor unit replaced.

Being replaced on cars as a matter of course but was advised that it wouldn't make much difference to the way the car runs except like PetrolDave said in cold climates.

Anybody know how long this takes to do? My dealers quoted me 3 - 4 hours and on top of a round trip of 250 miles means i lose a whole day :(

Had mine done last week - July 06, dropped it off at the dealers at 0830 and they were on the phone telling me the work had been done, car ready for collection and 'valleted' by 0920!
