Ok, so we all now how good our V8's sound and how good the car sounds in a tunnel, but where are you favourite / best tunnels?
Nothing like a weekend tunnel hunting!!!!

17 mile swiss tunnel, east of Mulhouse.....Swiss tunnels also in general....I am not gonna find a tunnel in England without cameras and additional regulated speed limits

Yep, agree with the above two, but would also say Dartford Tunnel is pretty good late at night!
The tunnels on the M25 Enfield-ish are ok at the right time too.
The tunnel on the M4 in Wales is pretty pleasing too. Actually, thinking about it the tunnel on the A55 heading for Anglesey in North Wales is pretty good as well. Although, you have to be on your guard for that Prick Brunstom though!!

Dartford tunnel, even blackwall tunnel if no traffice!..just sit the <beep> in 2nd gear haha

Tyne Tunnel, even though you have to pay for the privilege.
Tunnel running in London is also supposed to be sweet.

Saltash Tunnel, just the other side of Plymouth on A38 in Cornwall. Has specs cameras for "monitoring" traffic so not sure if they would prosecute for speeding.

I've never had a ticket yet. It has speed monitors which lights up those silly 30mph signs but thats it.

Oh ok i thought they were speed cams..... i've never driven through it without being in a snake of traffic.... what speed have you achieved in the tunnel?

Quick enough that with the windows down it induces a smile on my face. Albeit you have to pick a day when there is no smog in there, breathing becomes difficult otherwise and you look like you've just done a stint down the pits!
