I've just walked away from buying a Sprint Blue RS4 (07)

From a distance you would think it was immaculate. However, in the sunshine and up close its easy to see that the car has, at sometime, being covered in Dunlop stickers (Down the side, front and rear)

Alarm bells were ringing early on. It had quite a few stone chips dotted about, and the protector for stonechips at the front was bubbling up at points. I'm pretty sure it has been used as a track car at what point I don't know (pace car ?)

I'm just glad I looked at it on a nice sunny, dry day.

I'm gutted as I've had an Audi dealer move it from one end of the counrty to another. The salesman (a good friend) even admitted it wasn't in A1 condition as described.

The search goes on !

To be clear, most(but not all) cars that have a reg starting with an 'o' will be Audi press cars ..

so 0Y07BAP will be a press car (BTW that';s not a real reg)

Not just press cars but cars supplied by Audi UK rather than through an Audi Centre, eg all their management cars, press cars, some of the more expensive dealer demo cars, cars given to celebs and the grey area of cars that go for example to the Audi Driving Experience at Silverstone.
Also cars that get taken apart and rebuilt for technician training.

Of course it could be normal cars supplied by Oxfordshire Audi Centres, delivery stamp is service book is the the clue.

The reason I asked if it was an 'O' was because it probably meant it was a Dunlop activity in conjunction with Audi UK which narrows it down a bit, not found anything on the web at all yet.
Audi Experience cars have Pirelli stickers so I am a bit confused.

Yes there is, but they have milteks fitted

Perhaps the last bloke who owned had a bizzare fetish for Dunlop Greenflash trainers?

Surely if you asked Audi they would give you it's history especially if you asked specific questions ?

It was diificult to find anymore info out as I went to view at 6-30 pm Friday night. He couldn't find out any more info until Monday morning. I just wanted to konw if anyone one here knew the history of the car...
