Watchdog & DRC

Hi,
I've just had the usual banging etc start at 51k miles on my RS6. I'm going to post this on RS4 forum as well as I'm told b y APS that they are even worse! Went to local dealer, offered to reduce the billl by 25% to get my servicing work as a gesture. They had tried Audi who weren't interested as car is 2004. I'm going to take this further as I think it stinks. I've emailed Watchdog as my first port of call. Don't know if anybody else has tried this before. Do you all think a mass approach to them would help? If so cut ands past the following or make up your own if you can be bothered. TT Forum did the same over dodgy dash & won once it had appeared on TV.
My main thoughts are
1/Why have they started fitting rubber covers if they weren't needed in the first place?
2/Sale of Good Act states " In general, the onus is on all purchasers to prove the goods did not conform to contract (e.g. was inherently faulty) and should have reasonably lasted until this point in time (i.e. perishable goods do not last for six years)." In my opinion suspension should last more than 50k on any vehicle.
3/ If it's wear & tear then why do they replace under warranty?
4/ In a large number of cases it doesn't cure the problem as they fail again.
I would also very much like to know how many times Audi have repaired/replaced against the number of cars sold worldwide.
Comments please
