With regard to the shock absorber post does anyone know who the top man is to direct teh letter to and his/her address. I have heard that Jeremy Hicks is one such person and that Paul Adcock maybe another.

My experience with anyone at Audi has been poor, seem very disinterested. As you own a newer/higher priced car maybe they will give you the time of day. Contacts I have:

In fact reading the letters I have sent to Jeremy has my blood boiling. Good luck. Simply put fcuking useless.

My advice is to go through your dealership and go to someone senior at the dealership - then the group that owns the dealership. If you skip a few points of escalation and Jeremy is as disinterested in you as he was me you would have burnt your bridges with senior contacts at your dealer/group.

Perhaps it is cause I bought a second hand Audi from a dealer... 5 years old, I get second hand service.

A shame as I could have gone out and bought a brand new RS4 and been tempted by talks of an RS5 and the new S4... Audi UK will never see a penny of my £££ now.

My experiences have been shared with many out there who have been tempted by an Audi - glad to say most have been put off once they hear the stories and lack of support Audi UK gave me.

Lets hope I cost Audi UK a few mil before I pass.

Maybe you need to have an RS246.com RS4 drive day that happens mid week and happens to turn up at the Audi Offices.

I had contact with Tom a few years ago. Very straight-talking and decisive. Also couldn't agree more regarding dealers. If the facility existed I would rather take the car back to the factory for servicing, I'm sure the dealers cause more faults than they fix.

I believe Tom has left that Head of Customer services role now, and I have forgotten the name of the new guy.

David is a top bloke and I pleased to say a personal family friend. there isn't much he doesn't know about the 4 rings, he was obviously a great help when I had my problems at the beginning with my car.

I was going to drop him an email to make him aware of the poll and problem people have been having but as I know he frequently visits various forums I'm sure he has already seen the thread. Hi David
