brakes sticking

Hi

Only registered today and already asking advice dohhh!.

Has anyone experienced the rear brakes locking up when the car is parked for only a short period of time. This is after it has been driven in the wet or taken to a carwash. The weather has been really c*!p over the last few weeks so I have used the wash more than normal. Sometimes it seems to take quite a bit of force to break them free.

My discs seem to rust back over very quickly, sometimes in minutes

Just wondered if other people are experiencing this. :?

All cars tend to do this when they are parked up with wet brakes, especially if they have been to the jet wash.

Yep, mine does it if I don't go for a drive to dry out the discs after washing it.

Yes many do, my RS4 was prone to this ( every wash) but the 635D Sport is not!. :!:

When I say "car wash" I really mean hand wash. No RS or car should see the inside of one of those godforsaken machines.

So the simple answer to "sticking brakes" is to go for a damn good thrash after washing.
That way any water will be vapourised by the RS4's brutal stopping power - Can't wait!

Still glad to know that all is well, cheers A
