Does anyone know if I can get the Phone package retro fitted to my B7? I have the Sat plus system, but didn't want the handset on the dash. Currently I have a nokia bluetooth system (parrot) which works really well but doesnt integrate the phone numbers into the dashboard.
Any thoughts welcome

It is possible to have the phone retro fitted but it cost me over 500 pounds

I would recommend the same, although I went to craig to simply remove my ugly dash mounted cradle and refit a new centre console minus the holes....

I was going to suggest CraigyB too (tclsatnav.com) but didn't want to upset the crew
He did a great job for me...

Another alternative is DIY if you're handy with installing electronic components.
I watched mine retro-fitted with oem bluetooth module and it is very easy to do, I would have done it myself but I don't have a vag-com. You will need vag-com to finish the installation.

Likewise, although i suggest you confirm phonebook compatibility before going ahead, as not all phones sync. The N models (my N95) do not sync phonebooks with the Audi Bluetooth.

Paul,
Yesterday Audi CS told me that the Audi system will pick up numbers in the sim card memory of the N95 but not the internal memory.
Is that right?
I'm just about to get a N95....
I presume you hook up using Bluetooth?

I'll have another go, but this never worked for me in the past & neither the phone nor BT system have been altered since fitted, so i can't see how this will work.
If you get it working, please drop me a line.
You'll also find that about 1 in 3-4 calls you get a high volume buzz (very loud) whilst the system is dialling. Once you get a ringing it vanishes, but the N95 is possibly the worst Nokia phone for Audi BT compatibility.
