When the car leaves the factory the eject button is disabled. The dealer should unlock it as part of the PDI.

If you find someone, they need address 37 or 56. Then choose adaptation channel 067, and change value from 255 to 001

I had the same problem. The dealer enabled the ejectbutton when the car was there for service.

Does it make any sort of noise when you press the button (whirring etc?) If so and still nothing it could be that the tray loading motor or mechanism is damaged, the a new RNS-E unti is required under warranty. If not it is likely to still be locked as previously said.

I had a similar problem when i first bought my car, i had the Audi ipod unit fitted by a local in car sounds company. Audi said they had to disconnect the ipod unit, and then the sat nav disc came out no problem!! sounds rreally strange, but it worked, i have no idea why this would affect the sat nav disc??
worth a try?

Hmmmm? Don't know that I believe them. The iPod interface connects to the CD changer interface and the DVD goes into the internal drive which is completely unconnected to that. I think the Audi dealer may have told you a porky there.
Anyway RED ROCKET's problem has already been solved, by getting the drive lock disabled (which should have been done at the PDI).
