Well, 8 months and 8K later and the RS4 has been sold,it was bought by an enthusiast for a good price, I am like alex,
I too get bored, I thought this guy is very keen, offered good money and with the present climate looking bleak, I thought "Let it go".

I really enjoyed it, and to be fare it must have been one of the very best around, the guy got a great Car. He loves it.

I have gone for ( may be mad) a 635D Sport in Deep Sea Blue with cream leather and lots of toys.
I always fanced one of these and with the stonking diesel engine it just apealed.
Will always be around to help or chat whatever,
Thank you one and all for all your advice and direction, great forum :beerchug:

Sorry to hear you sold it too John. Lovely replacement though!

Whoever bought it, got a cracking car.

Heh-heh, the rats are abandoning the sinking ship. Next, we see all the chavs getting in on the RS4 bandwagon.

P.S. The "rats" is just a figure of speech, don't choke on your cucumber sandwich.

So what about the person who has bought it then? And if they were so bad, how come both Alex and John are getting near enough what they paid for them originally?

People would surely have bought an M3 for that money considering second hand ones are being sold for £5K under list because they can't shift their demo's?

That's the good thing about RS4s. They are pretty rare which helps re-sale. Can't argue on that one (although I think there is a reason why they are rare... they are overpriced pimped old-style A4s) However here in Switzerland, they are dime a dozen.

Yes. BMW's insistence of selling as many M3s as it can has hurt residuals. I see young kids driving them now all the time.

Our local chav variety. Usually albanian/serb with a "mohawk" and blasting rubbish Balkan pop. In a 100,000mile E46M3.
