Received my new baby at the end of November 2007, now running at around 2500 miles...

Great all round performance car, with downpipes, exhaust and remap the car really pulls hard and is so responsive right throughout the RPM range...

Specification:
Black Phantom
380mm Audi Ceramic Brakes (Front)
Sports Suspension Plus
Milltek Downpipes + Exhaust
Wetterauer ECU remap

Black Stylepack:
- Titanium Shadow Alloys
- Titanium Shadow Mirrors
- All Black Exterior Trim
- Piano Black Interior Trim
- Recaro Racing Bucket Seats with painted Phantom Black backs
- Suede Racing Wheel
- Suede Gear Knob
- Suede Handbrake Lever

The car dyno'ed around 310WHP at 600 miles, butt dyno suggests it whould be up around 340-350WHP with the DP + exhausts, remap and a few more miles...

How much did your RS set you back roughly? Curious as I'm contemplating moving to NZ and wonder if it is better to ship my RS from the UK or try and find one when I get there.

Nice pics BTW, titanium bits look smart on black.

Whats it like in NZ???

Mate of mine took his Viper and got so pi**ed off with the cops who had little to do, he would wake up Sunday morning and an unmarked car would be outside his house just waiting.

Or is that why the RS4 appeals.............street sleeper..............................BTW lovely car.

Dynoing at 600 miles...

Hmmmm....

I thought the run in period specified reduced rpm for the first few miles?

No doubt when you get the full use of 8150rpm you'll get your 350 whp.

RS4 is expensive in New Zealand (any European car is) - they retail at $164,990NZD brand new, or around 66,000 UK pounds. You can pick up a used 2006/2007 model from around $120,000NZD upwards (~48000 UK pounds+).

I'd suggest it's probably better to ship it to NZ - very easy to import to New Zealand, only duties are 12.5% of car value, if you've owned it for more than 3 months then I think you don't pay any duties whatsoever. Europe is much stricter for safety and emissions laws, so anything that passes in Europe is OK for New Zealand.

Police are very strict on traffic here, and rules are getting tougher soon. Radar detectors will be banned soon, and if you exceed 75km/h in a 50km/h zone, lose your car and license for 28 days :?
