Does have a miltek system fitted make the engine management light come on? or have any ill effects on the car?

It didn't on my car & neither did the re-map, however my Milltek is cat-back.

Have heard of a few problems with full de-cat systems causing problems with running, emissions & warning lights etc. but not heard of problems for a while now.

non res/non valved. I doubt the cats would make much difference to the noise?

Co-incidently i am about to set off to get my non res/non valved system fitted. Dependant on how i get on with it it may be up for sale shortly

Have heard various pros and cons ie the floor gets very hot in the cabin, fuel consumption issues, warranty issues.
what if any is the definitive system to fit if any??
