My Pilot Sports are just about worn out, question is are they the best choice for the RS4's or does anyone have another tyre preference, if so what is it and why are they better than my current tyre's :thumb:

IIRC there is a group buy on RS4 tyres being sorted out, have a look in that section.

The selection was from PS2's, Pirelli PZero's, Goodyear F1 Assymetrics and Vredestain Ultrac Sessantas

I had PZero Rossos as OE fit but they only lasted 9000 miles. I'm on PS2s now and after nearly 9000 miles they're only half worn! Similar grip, no more noise.

IMHO the PS2s kick the PZeros Rossos ass... :assflash:

Sorry if a dumb question but who makes the PS2s?

correct P_G, it is me looking into sorting a GB but the response has been a little underwelming!

The cheapest i could get the PS2's for is 197 per corner delivered. All dealers etc i spoke to said that is rock bottom. costco are doing them for 187 but you have to be a member and own your own business. They can get them so low as their tyre bay is run by Michelin!

You don't have to have your own business to have a Costco card. You can have a personal card for a small fee, that between tyres and oil would pay for itself instantly.

I have used them for Michelins on my Clio Sport, BMW and Porsche (they can get N-rated tyres to order).

I would have participated howevere given I got brand new Conti's on my RS when I picked it up 4000 miles ago it won't need any for a while and it would be pointless them sitting arounf in my back yard for the next 9 months, sorry!
