Black Miltek?

My RS4 Avant has the black optics pack.......does anyone know if miltek do a black system to match and where to get it from?

Up until 3 months ago Miltek did NOT have an optic version of the rear system. It was work in progress & they did offer to guinea pig my car during their latter stages of testing, however they were not that confident that the paint would withstand the heat.
I could not be bothered waiting so opted for the standard exits on my Optic Pack Sprint Blue & TBH i think it looks far better than the oem balck exits looked. They're about 33% larger & have Miltek Sport engraved on them, so i'm more than happy to lose the black stealth zorst tips.

So what's the noise like with the Milltek when not in Sport mode, same as OEM or more intrusive?

Ring Miltek,
I spoke to them about a month ago and they said that were in the final testing stage for the paint.
They should be about ready now, as i am also waiting.

It's about 10% louder but not really anymore intrusive. In Sport Mode (or flaps open) it's about 30-40% louder & you can feel a slight advantage in the low down grunt.
As for the Black exits, i was never really a fan of these with my optics pack (love the rest of the pack though), as against the black valance, the zorst exits were lost & did not stand out, the chrome Miltek exits really do look better & TBH after a few weeks, they take on a more gold/chrome look as the heat takes effect.

What do you have? Resonated or Non-resonated with valves?

I had a full Miltek system (valve removed) fitted by Kim Collins at QST. I have the balck optic pack on my black B7 and I asked Kim to powdercoat the exhaust tips black before fitting. They looked very good and 5,000 miles later (having got very hot a few times) are still in perfect condition. One advantage is that they don't need cleaning so often (at all).
