DON'T DELETE: American needs a remap

I've posted threads about this 3 or 4 times and some knob-gobbler keeps deleting my post, so I'll try again.
I'm looking for an ECU remap company with one key caveat: THEY MUST RESPOND TO A FREAKING EMAIL!
I've sent emails to every company I could find on this site querying about an ECU remap.
I write for a magazine here in the US and produce an online broadband programme. We are in dire need of testing an ECU remap for both an article and a feature on the programme. MOre importantly, my close colleague's speed shop wishes to begin SELLING this mod if it proves to work.
If anyone could kindly put me in contact with one of your GOOD contacts at such a company, I would be in your debt. Unfortunately, a simple web link to a site won't do...these companies simply aren't responding
I check this forum often but can be reached by email at

Only one of your posts has been moved for review as you were considered to be a potential advertiser.
Why can't you find a tuner in the states ?
Judging by the attitude you exhibit in your post, I'm not surprised responses have not been forthcoming. Just my 2c

Gotta agree with you DavidT.
FWIW, I always figure if you want something from somebody it pays to be polite.
Maybe the SoCal sun this year has got to the knob-gobbler himself?

Not sure what criteria was used to ever consider me as a potential advertiser, as it looks as if I complied with the rules and regs of this forum.
Be that as it may, my previous posts asked for assistance from one of the European tuners as we were looking to give someone free press/advertising in exchange for assistance with ECU tuning. It's a common practice here in the US, perhaps that is not the case abroad, so please forgive me if I assumed too much.
I have indeed sent emails through the web sites to this effect to the above mentioned tuners. To date, not one reply. This is why I was hoping for a referral from a member of this community for a more direct link to someone within these companies as there is a strong sales potential for such a product in the USA.
There is currently not one tuner in the USA selling a dyno-verified ECU remap solution for the B7 RS4.
Candidly, I can't remember ever working so hard to give someone free press or exposure, so I'm hoping one European tuner will consider the opportunity worth pursuing. If I offended anyone, my apologies.

I thought for a second about going ahead for this, however, after doing it in the past for other models where free advertising was being offered, in the end all that happened was that someone just wanted a remap for free and that was it, so I'm not interested in doing it, sorry.
Plus, I do have US dealers and none of them has the equipment for B7 RS4 ECUs yet, and the demand for B7 RS4s is low.
Of course people that are "hungry" and eager to sell remaps will jump on the case, I personally just won't.
Mihnea
PS: plus we have never received any emails at MRC asking us to help out with this, so better get your facts straight before claiming you've contacted "everyone".

Craig, you sound like a straight-up kind of guy. I hope someone manages to provide you what you are looking for.
I also regularly contribute to a few car magazines and know how thankless it can be sometimes to organize articles.
