Tow Bar

Post by robinbarker » Mon Oct 01, 2007 12:39 pm

Hi Guys

My Dad's thinking about replacing his RS2 with an RS4 Avant.
We have a detachable towbar on the RS2 to occasionally tow our boat (dinghy) and would obviously like to do the same with the RS4.

I am predicting the usual - "not possible due to overheating" but it must be possible.

Any ideas?

Robin

Someone here has done it but it involved cutting the rear bumper in order for it to fit.

Cheers Daz

Do you know who? - I am drawing a blank having rung a few tow bar experts.

If we cant get one then he will probably get a 911 as if he has to have another car for towing then it defeats the point of going for practical supercar (RS4) - Dad wants something that can do everything which is why the RS Audis have always appealed
