Depenjds on the fault codes it is throwing. Get VAG com and see whats what. I have had the same problem but it was due to dead coils so ver obvious. Others on here have had similiar.

It seems to be a common practice for Audi to test your car and not fill it up afterwards. My dealership did it to me too when I left it with them for a similar problem. As you say, half a tank later. Barstewards!

Customer service at Audi is the one thing that lets the brand down IMHO.......

Audi customer service - nearly put me off buying another Audi! I changed dealers and so far so good. If you want really bad customer service then buy a merc OMG never again!

I seems so hit and miss with all dealer customer service just the luck of the draw, I do think Audi should be like VW and have a 'luxury car service' for this price car. The VW dealer I bought my V10 Touareg from were fab if only Audi could replicate that

I bought a clio for the wife to be and Renault were absolutely fantastic. when buying and during the last two services. Cheap car + luxury service.

Take note audi. luxury car + cheap ass service = less sales  (the car is magic but!) :D

You think Audi are bad, Porsche are much worse (in my experience!)

Dealt with Swansea and Cardiff dealerships, so far so good.

Hi everybody, by the way! :D

:dung:
I had the same experience with Merc, took the AMG 55 out for a test drive, within 30 miles the glove box fell out on the floor :x , this was a new car by the way, I drove it back and the sales guy says "No problem we'll stick it back" :bash: yea I said, keep it.
I said this is a 72K car we are talking about here, his reply "we are having some build quality problems"

What really irritates me is the actual customer services for the car maker. I have had a few complaints to various car makers customer services and initially they have been very good but when it comes to the crunch they will say "unfortunatley the final decision comes down to the dealer" IMHO this is just a total waste of time, they need to be able to dictate to the dealer, listen to the eveidence and make an informed opinion.
Porsche for me were very good especially the technician and service manager. Audi were abissmal when they damaged an alloy and tried to make out it was from another car and they did not realise but they did make amends and gave me rs4 mats, mobile adapter and £250 towards the maintenance contract in addition the service manager is very good and the sales guy is excellent. They are also being taken over by Sytners which hopefully will be a good thing.

I had ongoing problems with the emissions light - diagnosed on here as warranty issue - producing poor mpg aswell.

Stealer was supposed to have it for 2 days, but had it for 4 days, having had to give it to one of their "senior engineers" to take home to test drive. They resolved the problem, and then attempted to charge me a ridiculous sum for the fule in the hire car, and an entire tank of petrol in my car.

A couple of calls to Audi resolved the situation. Dreading the service!!
Everyone is unique, just like you and me.
