Good new for owners with optic pack!

Spoke to milltek today and they said that they are only about 1 month away from having the black finish.

I will be placing order

They offered to let me take my car down to them & have the exits painted, once they've finished testing the coatings.

Having lived with the chome effect exits now for a few weeks on my Optics car, i now can't see the point getting them blackened, as i've kinds got used to the new look & i guess it's a bit different.

I hope Milltek will be making them for the '6 as well as the chrome tips are the only thing holding me back from getting them done. Last time I spoke with them they weren't available.

I'm gutted, placed my order for a black RS but without the optics pack because the one thing i hate is the Black exits. never thought about the fact that i could have had black grill and window surrounds then put on a miltec which i plain to do anyway and that would have been problem solved.... Oh well the shiny bits look nice on the black car anyway!

Optics pack is about £97.00 anyway so you can still have it if you want to.

Optics pack is about £97.00 anyway so you can still have it if you want to.

That's just the grille though John. Window surrounds extra

Are the window surrounds and grille easy to fit?

Hmmm interesting may ask my dealer for a price to have the grill and windows supplied and fitted. cheers guys

Is the optics pack for the side windows a black trim subsitute or is it just the the normal black surrounds without the silver trim? How easy is it to fit the black roof rails, does the head lining inside the car have to be taken out to unscrew the rails?
