Well I have my B5 in the dealership for alignment and they have kindly lent me a B7 Avant for 24 hours all I can say is I'm hooked looks like I am going to have to go for a change miles better than the one I originally tested this one has obviously loosened up. Gonna start looking now
did not think I would want to get rid of my B5 but have now found an answer.

I'm not surprised you say that, however I still miss my B5, or maybe it's just rose-tinted spectacles!

The B7 is fantastic in many ways and obviously a lot different to the B5. I think I would still like to have both...

Mine is so much quicker now after 3K miles.
