i don't think the RS4 which tried by sport auto is stock

It won't do under 8 seconds with me driving it:)

I'll be trying in 2 weeks though.

If I remember correctly, Frank Stippler's time was on semi-slicks. I wonder if the sport auto time is on an RS4 with SS+ and slicks/semi slicks

Schoolboy error. Makes no difference, as i've as much chance of doing it in 8 minutes as i have in 8 seconds

8 mins 30 was recorded by me in my standard car a few months back. Tyres were shagged though and it needed new disks and pads on its return to the UK..

These are very fast round the ring....

Back 1st/2nd Sept.

My best to date BTG is 8:47 (fairly crude timing) in the M5 & that was in perfect conditions, with virtually no other traffic & as quickly as i'd have felt safe based on my skill levels & confidence at that time. Hoping this will improve after Scuderia, but to me anything under 9 minutes in a road car with stock tyres & brakes is a pretty good time.
