Steering judder = buckled wheel

I recall a previous post stating that the alloy compound used on RS wheels was designed to 'soft' and that Audi would honour and replace any 'mis-shaped' wheels because of the sh*t state of British roads...

I have just had my B7 RS4 serviced, and when I commented that there was a steering judder, they found the front N/S wheel is slightly out of shape, and then immediately stated this is NOT covered under the manufacturers warrenty.

Anyone else had this problem, or know how I can get them to re-consider their position on the matter?

Any advise gratefully received!

Tim

Shame, they were quite adament that it is not a warranty thang, and promptly let me know a new wheel is over £400!

Ho hum, eBay it is then... :-)

You may find that's why there are RS4 wheels on ebay. slight bucklet, buy new wheel & slap the old one on ebay...
