Hi all, took delivery of my rs4 avant saturday (misano red 56 plate) and so far im very impressed...

One small problem, the tyre pressure monitor is showing that there is a fault (not losing pressure but that the sensors are not working) does anyone know if this is something I can look at or does it have to go back to the stealer ? anyone had a simialr issue ? The wheels have been refurbed so im guessing that potentially this could be partly to do with it.

Appreciate all the advice given on here and its been very helpfull in my specing and purchase, but couldnt find anything relating to this specifically when i did a search.

Cheers

Cheers

Unfortunately bought the car in yorkshire and I am in essex so will have to take to the local dealer, was just wondering if it could be something like a loose connection thats easily done - but will give it to my loacal dealer to sort under warranty..

The sensors are inside the tyre valves which are inside the wheels, so sensor faults if not "Scanning" software fault, will need replacement.

had the same problem.
my car has been in twice and they have replaced all four sensors everytime. still testing to see if it has been fixed or not. the next thing they will change is the receiver. the best bet is book it in and leave it untill they have tested it again and again untill they are sure it is fixed.

Any Audi dealer will fix the problem FOC, it does not matter where you got the car in the UK.

cheers chaps, will book into the dealer and get sorted, otherwise im well pleased with my purchase, still cant get my head around how well this car goes and handles considering the engine is so far upfront, driving it reminds me a little of my old E39 M5 but just better (apart from the oversteer of course  )
