You could try eBay for a tax disc holder, probably just Audi ones, not RS4 specific.

My dealer gave me one on delivery
It's nicely made, but big - to the extent that it dangles on your right knee. I keep mine on the spare...

Dom, took mine off as well, kept hitting my knee.I just use the activator thing now.
